Movement ~ Small piece of a work, often notated numerically
Sonata ~ Indication that a piece is meant to be played by a musical entity
Cantata ~ Indication that a piece is meant to be sung, often accompanied by another musical entity
Concerto ~ From the late Baroque era, one or more soloists accompanied by orchestra or ensemble. One slow movement arranged with two fast movements
Symphony ~ A piece consisting of distinct movements, often four, and with the first movement in sonata form. Most often scored for orchestra consisting of string, brass, woodwind, and percussion sections
c. ~ Circa, Latin for "approximately"
Op. ~ Opus (Latin for "work," "labour") number denotes a group of musical composition, however not often entitled in chronological order. Unpublished compositons usually had no opus number, numeration gaps and sequential duplications occurred when publishers issued contemporaneous editions of a composer's work
No. ~ Used to denote a whole or part of a musical composition among many, groups of which may be later labeled under one opus number, such as "Op. 11, No. 6." This would indicate the sixth musical composition labeled under the opus number eleven

how do you guys manage/pirate your music collection? i'm using spotify_dl/yt-dlp + mpd/ncmpcpp for metadata but manually sorting them/correcting inaccuracies is a chore. thinking of setting up lidarr but not sure if it's worth the hassle
