Well, that's obvious considering it is p2p, still not confident on it though. Also, I know about the proxy, but when routing it through tor socks the terminal it is running on shows a few errors in connection.
Also, it seems like it was never intended to work with tor in the first place.

Are you willing to use another chat program? Or maybe joining an IRC? (through torsocks obviously)

Don't get wrong, it's not paranoia, denpending on the client you get pretty specific stuff just from the IP, like the time I joined a surface net irc and it showed some ISP stuff.

Anyways, I'm open to being frens, also it should be fine to just communicate over threads.

Yes peer 2 peer all shows IP cause thats how it works thats why u need to use a proxy/tor/etc with these things including crypto wallets.
XMPP is better then all these other things imo even though IRC has more activity/people.
