I have a kinda big and growing pile of cash at home that I can't pay into my bank account because it would interfere with my government gibs. I fear that with the current trends there will be new laws in a few years that prohibit owning large amounts of cash and big payments with it, so I would like to do something about it.
Thus I need to either spend or invest it anonymously, and hopefully in a way that at least isn't worse than inflation. I don't know how legal and dangerous it is, but maybe I could drive to a country with lower VAT like Switzerland and get some there, but this could be considered smuggling. Only investing in gold seems dangerous too.

I'm living in Germany, here you can buy precious metals with cash and without need for identification in local stores. With gold there is no tax, neither for buying nor selling, for others such as silver there is 19% VAT however so that's already quite a hefty difference that needs to be closed by rising prices. In addition to that there are of course also dealer premiums that make selling at the same price point as buying impossible.
Of course cryptocurrencies would be an alternative, but I think that they should not be used for investment as they are subject to heavy speculation which turns it into a game of roulette for people who think they are smarter than the rest. I might buy some from localmonero to use for payment later on, but I won't put a huge part of my money in there.

So what are my options? What do you do with your money? Do you fear economic crashes and hyperinflation? Do you simply spend everything for chicken tendies and body pillows? Do any of you have a house or similar big property? Generally curious about the options and what you do.
