The Spamhaus thing I think I've spoken on before. Just you try using email without an account with one of the big boys (Gmail, Outlook, Protonmail, etc). Get a $500 a month dedicated, static IP connection with a clean record, jump thru the hoops DMARC, DKIM, and SPF and then pray to any gods you know and you *might* just get mail thru. For awhile. All the "anti-abuse" shit made email unusable. They threw the baby out with the bath water. Spamhaus spearheaded that movement. Spamhaus is to email what Cuckflare is to the web.
