I want to build a database of popular imageboards and forums to compare which ones are the best for anonymity. Obviously the ability to post on Tor or other darknets is a must. The site should have as many users and posts per day as possible to maximize blending in. It should be possible to post without registration and unique user identifiers. Allowing optional registration or user names may be good or bad. The site should work without JavaScript.

Clearnet address may be good or bad. It allows normies to access the site but reveals the server's location. Supporting one set of darknets may be better or worse than supporting a different set of darknets.

The clearnet domain redirects to a shitty, inferior, dysfunctional IB called konatachan. The onion is completely down. I really had hope this board could become something great, but now it's gone without any hint where it could be. A few threads from it survived on the new konatachan, which could imply this is permanent, but the software is much worse, all the good boards are gone. It allowed noJS Tor posting and slowly became active and fun, but fuck, now it gone. ADMIN IF YOU READ THIS, GTFI back online

4chan added some more letters to its slider captcha and some white lines. Do you think it will stop bots? Which imageboards do you think have the best captchas?

Below is a download link for a complete wget archive of Phichannel from late March (shortly before it went down for good as far as I know) that I've been sitting on. The .7z archive also includes multiple copies of the database from different times, so you might be able to view a select few deleted posts that way. Total size is about 400MB.

Some notable limitations:
~ Obviously, you can't post.
~ No banner will be randomly selected for the front page.
~ The "Next" button doesn't work on boards using the index view. You need to click on the page number directly.

Barely any websites get to last this long, let alone user forums. Twenty whole years is an eternity by internet standards. However, 4chan itself is overrun by shit now. The management did [bold: nothing] for this milestone. moot can be dead for all we know he didn't show his face anyhow. And hiroyuki is in a voicecall masturbating with the rest of the mods on a private discord server, planning some trip to Africa ffs.
We got the usual artwork commission for $20, a partyhat, and small text saying "20th anniversary" right bellow "janitor acceptance emails have been sent out". That's it. Will be removed tomorrow. Fucking random anons put more effort into this, example /watch?v=ngZXUbSefYI . The worst part is that discussion was non-existent. I remember seeing more threads on the 19th then now. Seriously, there was 1 desu thread on /a/ that was of any quality. The rest was either all the people whining or everyone pretending to be a super oldfag. I cannot tell, but I could understand both.

/r9k/ was 4chan's attempt at a gimmicky board. It was awful, but it was novel.
